This story updates fairly regularly, the chapters are long and story will probably make you cry. The rate of Bella's improvement is very realistic, (aka gradual) so if you want to see her "get better" and start talking within a few chapters, just warning you that doesn't happen. Sometimes if can be frustrating but I think it will pay off in the end.

I feel I should warn you that Bella's marriage ended because of Jake's death and it wasn't pretty -- it was Bella's young daughter who found his body. I'm sorry if saying that ruins it for some of you but when Bella eventually explains to Edward what happened, it's rather specific and honestly I wish it hadn't been quite that detailed with the imagery so I thought I should warn you.

This is an excellent story. It's a "short" story in regard to the number of chapters, but each chapter is quite long.
The Cullen family is living in Vermont. Edward travels to the home he lived in back when he was still human (he still owns it and sometimes rents it out). While he's there, he notices a person from his past moving in across the street.
