She took my hand, shaking it, "I'm not interested." (Bella has better balance and is into sports if I remember correctly.)

the epilogue is a basically a funeral (or a wake, I forget which) for both Bella and Edward. It is several decades later, they have both died at an old age and people talk about their long life together and there are some flashbacks. So it's a happy ending in the sense that they are together the rest of their lives, but it does end with their deaths since they are both human in this story.
