My friend and I have started a Twilight based Role Play game. We are now looking for new players.
Never role played before? NO PROBLEM. We will be more than happy to help you learn. after all... we were new at it one time too.
My friend and I started a LOTR RP several years ago and it really took off and was lots of fun. In fact, it is still going on like 6 years later... although I have turned the ownership over to someone else. I am very into Twilight and would like to get this game going strong!
Think soap opera drama! Fun storylines, romance, danger, comedy... all of it applies to this game.
Even if you have not written before you no doubt have fantasized about playing with Edward? Jacob? Emmet? Bella? the list goes on... I mean... how hasnt? lol
Now is your chance.
We have about 5 active members right now, some of us are playing multiple roles. We just got the game going last month so it is very new.
We are only sticking to a few cannon storylines (that means following the movies/books) like Esme/Carlisle will always be a couple. And we have kept the Jacob/Bella/Edward triangle going. We picked up right after the first Twilight book/movie...
The rest.. is up to you/the rest of us
The storylines can go wherever they want. now for specifics:
We role play on a role play board.
Each *forum* is like a location.

Each location has several *threads* which are like rooms. so we might have The Cullen house. then inside that are Edwards Room, Carlisles office, the kitchen, the garage, etc etc...
Once you have your character, you decide where to start them and post in 3rd person which is like this
EXAMPLE:
Edward turned his ipod off and pulled his earphones out, tossing them onto the table. He had tried using music to take his mind off of Bella but to no avail. With much frustration he grabbed his car keys and headed to the garage.
((jumping Edward to garage))

Now since i said he was going to the garage.. I would go to the garage thread and post again:
EXAMPLE:
He saw his car parked on the end and hurried to it. The sleek silver Volvo shined even in the dim light of the garage. He hoped she was home; he really needed to talk to her. Her voice, her touch, her very smell was the only thing that would ease the tension he felt everytime they were apart.
"I need you Bella," he whispered to the night as he slid into his car and started the engine.
Seconds later the volvo was speeding down the driveway and off into the night towards Bella's house.
((jumping to Bella's house))

Now I'd post for Edward at Bellas house thread. and if Bella was there.. she'd post too and they'd have a storyline going...
Do you see how easy it is?
We have a yahoo group where it is just role play members only and we discuss storylines and other rp things.

to join the rp board you have to make a free account and POST in the character section, which character(s) you wish to play. you will find a list there of all the characters and names beside them if they are taken. right now, we have several players with several characters BUT are willing to give them up if someone wants them. That is commented by the characters name so you will know. We have just been using different ones to try and have enough in play to make stoylines.

This role play is rated pg13-r
you have to be over the age of 17 to join. Some storylines may contain violence, adult situations, and smut. But you only have to write what you are comfortable with writing. Which is why we have the group to discuss storylines.
