Robert Pattinson Had Trouble Keeping A Straight Face During The Birth Scene

The famous birth scene in Breaking Dawn - Part 1 was the most intense and horrifying part of the movie. Edward has to rip Bella open to get Renesmee out; Bella stops breathing; Jacob tries to revive her by giving her mouth to mouth; Edward bites her in a last-ditch attempt to save her. People fainted in the theaters from all the bright red blinking lights. In short, it was anything but funny. But it turns out that behind the scenes, the whole experience was hilarious!

Thanks to some bonus material featured on the upcoming DVD, which hits stores February 11, we now know that the cast had a tough time keeping a straight face during the shoot. Hardcore fans might be disappointed that their favorite actors didn't seem to live out the tragedy of the characters fully. On the other hand, it's fun to know that nobody took themselves too seriously.
