Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland is visually amazing, so how will New Moon's Michael Sheen look?
Alice In Wonderland, no doubt, will be much the same. Starring Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska, Helena Bonham Carter, and The Twilight Saga: New Moon's very own Michael Sheen, this film has certainly become the talk of the town.
Photographs of the feature film (and its main stars) surfaced earlier in the week proving one thing: Tim Burton's version of Alice In Wonderland will absolutely give the story a modern and beautiful new edge.
Comparing these photographs to screenshots from 58-year-old masterpiece, one can clearly see Burton's vision as imposed upon the original work.
While the new film may be live-action, nothing seems threatened to be lost in this re-creation, and fans of the former film are thrilled that Burton has taken on this project so well.
Yet, one particular character in the film remains to be seen: the "White Rabbit" as portrayed by Michael Sheen.
Along with the Dormouse, the Cheshire Cat, Walrus and Carpenter, the Tugley Wood inhabitants, the Caterpillar, and the March Hare, the White Rabbit is one of the more stunning of Disney's creations in the original, and, one would think, difficult to create in live-action.
This is, of course, not to say that Tim Burton's capacity for epic genius does not stretch this far, but the take that he will offer on characters such as Sheen's is still unknown at this time.
So, what do you think after seeing the slideshow comparison? How will Burton bring New Moon star Michael Sheen to the screen as the White Rabbit? The other characters? Comment below and let us know!
