Seriously, remember one thing---you are writing for yourself, first and foremost. And then sending it out there is one of the bravest things you can do. Even now, when I start a new fandom, the butterflies in my stomach appear and that's a good thing. And I've been writing for at least 10 years. Had to ask my friend---we're talking at the moment and he says at least that. : )

You will get the jerks who try to turn you away from your pairing of choice---who will get a bit in your face because---well, sometimes the bad reviews are because they are jealous of your abilities. Just remember that the opinion that counts is your own and don't let them win. Because if there is one bad review---there is usually 5 good reviews. And friends to build you up and make you feel like you can fly. : ) Hope that helps. Prolific Peggy.
