That's what someone else said, too...

That perhaps she had sustained an injury set, and that these were scratches of some sort...

I thought it was a surgical scar or stiches...

I'm still really not sure of what it is, and I can't for the life of me, find anything on the internet about it...

Oh well, guess that it's just going to have to remain a mystery :-))
