It hasn't been fully explained yet, but Bella has a medical condition. It's mentioned that she has to wear a medic alert bracelet. Seems like if Bella gets really stressed out, she faints -- but when she does her pulse is so faint that you can't feel it by checking her neck or wrist, they have to use a special machine at the hospital to check it and she appears to not be breathing, though she is able to hear everything going on around her so I guess it's not really fainting either.

ReplyDeleteWe also wanted to say that while Bella certainly suffers from asthenia, it is a sympton - not the root of her medical condition. However, we do hope to reveal the cause of her symptoms soon.
