First I want to apologize to all who have seen the movie and despite the ending, loved it. It's just the writer in my and the viewer too, who's speaking out.

Well, I had already decided to not go see this movie after the review in a local paper. But I think I understand what they meant about the ending now, after reading this. And my first thoughts when I read about it---disgusting to the memory of what happened and degrading to a movie that should have been let stand on it's on merits. Also, it's not been that long since 9/11. All I can say is that movies about 9/11 don't ambush you. And the series that dealt with what happened, did it with a great amount of sympathy and respect to what happened.

To shock people like this----a friend of mine last night said the movie isn't doing well. It's not the actors---it's the subject at the end. They took a risk and lost. But they should have known at the start that you can kill somebody off without going way overboard and drowning the rest of the movie at the same time.

Sorry about the rant but I hate it when some directors and writers take cheapness and put it into the movies. All I can tell you is that sometimes when I go to the movies with a family member, they seem to say, in the last 10 minutes, it's time to leave. They know something bad is going to happen. And this time---we would have left. Prolific Peggy.
