(It has 16 chapters posted so far, I'm only up to chapter 9 myself and so far no Jacob.) This story was originally a one-shot, apparently written when the author had an idea of an alternate way for Edward to admit to Bella about being a vampire.
summary -- Edward continues to torture himself by ignoring Bella after the Tyler incident, but his resolve to stay away from her is slowly fading. Will he finally get the push he needs to confess his true feelings when she enters herself in a charity auction?
