I believe that Summit was looking for an excuse to fire Rachelle. It seems they had the other actress already in mind. In the wings so to say.It may be that Summit felt that Bryce may be a "Bigger name ". There is an old saying"If it ain't broke don't fix it".The Twilight movies are a gigantic hit, why mess with success.

You know, I think this is another blight on this series of movies. To fire somebody like this---it's stupid and inane. How are you going to explain the different actress playing the role in number 3 film---oh, the vampire had plastic surgery? Snort---like that will fly. I think it was awful that they did this to the actress. Yeah, I like the books but what the heck are the powers that be doing to the movies?
