I was telling a good friend last night about this book that had a situation in it that would reflect what Rob is going through at the moment---and I hope he took the actions that the characters did.
It's one of the Drake Sisters books written by a wonderful author, Christine Feehan. I love this one---deals with a superstar singer and her band and having to deal with some threats against her. She already knows the bodyguard and let's just say, Ilya is like my favorite man who's with one of the Drake sisters at the moment. : )
So, the situation is this---they are like Rob---no privacy and being photographed all the time. Supposedly the Drake sister is having an affair with all of her band members---or at least sleeping with some of them. What do they do when they are eating in a truck stop and have the tabloids before them---laughing their heads off. That's what you got to do. As long as your closest friends know what's going on, and can laugh with you, well, you will get through this.
Course, the papparazzi in this piece are shoving people around and all but I'm sure that Rob can shove back if that ever happens to him. It's dramatic license, I guess. Still, it would be nice to know that Rob is laughing at all the lies about him, him and Kristen, him and whomever. It certainly would work wonders on the stress. And I hope he meets up with some of the things she did---just some lies in the tabloids are enough. Prolific Peggy. PS: Read the Twitter thing and you know a friend sent me a private twitter message asking if that twitter page was Robs. I said he wouldn't get caught dead on that site. But it's kinda scary that over 100,000 are on this page and think it's him. : (
I wonder though....
If Rob had known back then about the hugeness that the Twilight phenom turned out to become, and his little to no privacy now because of it all, would he *still* have tried out for the character of Edward anyway or decided not to.
