I wonder though....
If Rob had known back then about the hugeness that the Twilight phenom turned out to become, and his little to no privacy now because of it all, would he *still* have tried out for the character of Edward anyway or decided not to.

Just curious,

OMG---you too? I think if he knew now what he knew then, he would have seriously thought of:

1. Do I really want to do this picture?

2. If I do---I need better security.

3. Maybe I should have talked to people before deciding one way or the other.

The thing of it is that it was supposed to be an indy film---mothing that big---but the book made it big. The people who went to the movies---most of them went because of the book---and the sales went up and all of a sudden---it was the next best thing. He didn't expect this---I doubt anybody did.

We non-fangirls (or guys) are very sane about this---but I think the fangirls out there, screaming their heads off and scaring Rob half to death, is kinda making him think all three things up there. The poor kid is under such pressure and this isn't helping it at all. : (  Anybody ever want to take them aside and say---what would your mother say about your behaviour, young ladies? :: sigh :: Yeah, I know---it wouldn't work. Hmmmm---mothers as security for Rob? Yeah, that might actually work. <g> Oooo, Grandmothers---there is no way even a fangirl would push a grandmother to get to Rob. :: snort ::

Well, I hope Rob survives this---and finds somebody who can help him after this is all over---or before it's all over. He's got his friends---now he has to find his soulmate---and hope she wasn't run over by a fangirl on a bike. :: yikes :: Prolific Peggy.

Really? This was just supposed to be just an Indy film?  Poor guy, I feel really bad for him right now, especially with him being so shy :( and it doesn't help matters that the studio is doing all of the movies practically either right on top of or on the heels of the last one.    When the very last one's done and in theaters and all of the excitement has *finally* died down, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Rob decides to hightail it back to England and decompresses from all of this hoopla with the safety of his family and friends.   I  hope that he survives this too. It'll probably make him think twice before accepting anymore movie roles like this once he does.
