Hmm...I wonder.. Peggy,  if he hadn't been chosen to play Cedric Diggory in HP or if said character had wound up on the cutting room floor, like what happened to one of his previous characters, if he *still* would have gotten the part of Edward or if it would have gone to another actor?  I also wonder that if Kristen hadn't been chosen for the part of Bella, if Edward would've held as much pull for him as it did?  >

I don't know---I don't think his role in HP had much to do with it since he had to audition as much as the next person did. He just got the part because he was the best edward they found. : )

As to Edward having more pull for the actor because Kristen got the part of Bella---nawww---he went for it because he wanted the role. If Kristen hadn't gotten the role, I think that the lady who did would be on the covers with him right now. Has nothing to do with the girl---has all to do with the guy. Rob has 'it'. Kristen, as far as I can tell is just along for the ride. After all, you notice that there is a lot of headlines out there with him alone. I wonder if Kristen is jealous. :: evil smirk :: And btw---why the heck did she get the role? She doesn't seem to exude the Bella in the book at all for me---and for quite a few of my friends. She just doesn't feel right for the role to me---and obviously I'm not the only one that thinks so. I guess you can't please everybody but I tell you, any chemistry between the two actors beyond friendship, is totally invisible to me.

I hope that he does find a good down-to-earth sensible lady that will care about *him* and not who he portrays on the silver screen.   Pixie >

Me too. He needs a happy ending.  Seriously, he does---he's a nice guy in a town (as my friend calls it) called Hollyweird. Where nothing is as it seems---just look at the tabloids to know it's true. : ( Prolific Peggy.
