Another thing that I wanted to add about Robert, besides being an introvert, kind of like me...
He is also an "Artist"...
He is accustomed to working on "indie" films, where he can ACT, and just be the character, and NOT have to worry about the fans and the recognition...
Like I've always said...
When he took on the role of Edward, he had NO idea what "Twilight" was going to be like...
He just figured it was going to be another independent film, something SMALL Time...
Like the other movies that both he and Kristen had worked on previously...
Such as How to Be, the Haunted Airman, the Summer House, A Bad Mother's Handbook, etc...etc...
She had done the Panic Room, Into the Wild, Adventureland, Speak, The Messengers, The Cake Eaters, etc... >

Yep, that's what he thought it was going to be---a small film and not this huge thing. Never underestimate the love for vampires, I tell you. : ) It's not only there but it's in a lot of other books. Sometimes on another list, somebody puts out a question---who do you think should play such and such a character from the book. I want to say---nobody---just look at the person playing Bella. She doesn't work for everybody---because we picture somebody different in our minds. Mind you if the soccer players out there (the professional ones) can act---they might make a great bunch of Dark hunters. :: heehee :: That said, I don't think there is anybody in this world who can play Acheron from the books.

Rob just wasn't prepared for what was going to happen. Hindsight is 20/20 and if he knew this was going to happen, would he have taken the role. And now that he has, will he ever go for the popular again or just move on into more indies and his music. I think he'll take number two---one trip to Scaryville is enough for him. :: sigh ::

It is my belief that Robert experienced a little "Taste" of Stardom after he was in the Harry Potter movie, and he became recognized as Cedric...
But never in his Wildest DREAMS did he imagine the HUGE difference that being Edward Cullen would encompass... >

My friend asked me about that role---wasn't he affected by the fame there. I think he had a taste but it was Daniel and the others they were looking at, not really him. Now he's in Daniels seat and I'm thinking he's probably a little uncomfortable having girls running after him like that.

Okay, Robert DOESN'T "Sparkle" and he is NOT a "Shiny" Vampire...
But do you want to know the God's Honest Truth...
He DEFINITELY DOES "Dazzle" me :-))

Hugs and Kisses!!!!
Luv ya!

Awwww. : )  But what I'm really trying to say, sweetie---is that Robert might look like Edward but he's not Edward---and that's what people have to understand. It's like that kid coming up to Hanna's boyfriend---I believe it's Jake---and telling him to say the line of the Zombie killer (Hanna Montana---yes, I watch it---it's one of my guilty pleasures <g>). And he gets on him until he does say it and then the kid is like---you could have said it better. Like he was the zombie killer but in that reality, he was just an actor. :: sigh :: Prolific Peggy.
