Actually, Russet Noon isn't for sale anymore, from what I can gather from the news. Some of the fans out there got a little irate when they heard about it---because it's a fanfic---not written by Stephenie Meyer---and hence, shouldn't have been on order at all. It's called infringement and the fanfic writer could---no would---have been sued. Just putting on it that it's a tribute to Stephenie's saga---I don't know what the fanfic writer was thinking.

I believe I read somewhere that the fanfic writer is going to try to give it away to libraries or might be putting it on the internet for free---which is the way it should have been in the first place---it's fanfic. I just wonder how many people she's lost as readership because of this little stunt.

Sorry but I feel really incessed myself---as a fanfic writer, I know what line not to cross. And that fanfic writer crossed it and got burned. Thankfully, Stephenie didn't give her her 15 minutes of fame---I applaud the author for that and bow to her beauty, grace, and charm. : ) Prolific Peggy.
